Before doing any repair work, try the following suggestions:

Restart the console.

A loose cord or cable may be the problem if your Xbox still does not work. First, remove from the Xbox all power cords and cables that can be disconnected. Nintendo's fitness game for the Wii is on pace to become the fastest selling Wii game ever. The game, simply named "Fit", has outdone all previous records on Play.com by selling out its entire allocation in just one day.
