Brooks Trance, One Comfortable Set of Shoes
One thing anyone who knows me is aware of is that I do not like to wear shoes. I only wear shoes because I have to, not because I want to. A shoe fetish is definitely not one of the things I happen to have. When I do buy shoes, they are usually athletic-type shoes, usually running shoes of some sort. They are much easier for me to wear and a lot more comfortable than most pairs of shoes that I have tried to wear. So I tend to do a lot of shopping for running shoes as it were, due to the fact that my feet are a bit messed up and I tend to go through shoes rather quickly. Not too long ago, I took a look at some Brooks Trance running shoes.
I have to say that I liked the look of the Brooks Trance shoes. They reminded me a lot of some shoes I had previously owned and loved. In fact, those shoes had worn out, which was the reason I was once again shopping for shoes. Since I liked the look of the shoes, I decided to try them on.
One of the things I always look for when buying shoes besides width is the ability to get them in a mesh instead of solid cloth or leather. I am one of those people who want their feet to be able to breathe inside their shoes, and the Brooks Trance shoes would most definitely have afforded me that luxury. I also appreciated that the shoes were lace-up shoes instead of Velcro. Being that I am more than old enough and more than capable of tying my shoes, I do not like Velcro closured shoes.
The final thing that let me know I would love those shoes was that while I walked around in them, I was able to feel how much cushion they provided. These were definitely shoes I was interested in buying. The only thing that stopped me was that they were out of the size I actually needed. Otherwise, I would have bought them right then and there! I definitely recommend these shoes to anyone needing a comfortable shoe, and cannot wait to get my own pair!
