Aramis Perfume Struck Again

One of my favorite perfume that I first started to use is the Aramis Havana perfume. I still vividly remember buying it when it was first launched in 1994. Beside being the first perfume I bought for myself, it is also the first perfume that make me feel like a man, with its classic fragrance for men. What attracted me most is its oriental - spicy scent that make me feel so refresh and manly after every application.

My girlfriend simply just love the smell of it and I usually wear it when I am on a romantic night out with her. The fragrance opens with a fresh citrus smell of mandarin orange and basil, that slowly fade into a masculine scent of carnation, fir and tobacco, before drying down to an earthly feels of patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood. A perfume that contains the unique classic scent of Aramis perfume. My only regret then was not buying an additional bottle of Aramis Havana to keep, as the perfume was soon discontinued by Aramis.

Although Aramis came out with a few other perfumes after Aramis Havana, but I feel that the rest of the creation was no where near that of the original Havana perfume. As I was beginning to forget about the perfume, Aramis struck again. This time round it is truly an aramis havana relaunch, Aramis is relaunching a couple of its discontinued perfumes through their new Aramis Gentlemen's Collection. A total of 7 other perfumes are also included beside havana aramis relaunching that will be available to the public from October of 2009. I am definitely not going to regret this time round, as I am definitely heading out to buy at least a couple of bottles for safe keeping. However, I reservation that is on my mind with perfume relaunch, is whether the relaunch is able to capture the original scent of the perfume. Having said that I will still give it a try and hope for the best.
